Just the Two of Us
Just the Two of Us
After 35+ years of marriage, two wonderful sons, living and working in Australia, Sweden, UK and USA we are now 'just the two of us' plus a very spoilt Shitzu.
Following five years at The Sandhurst Club it is time to downsize. Our criteria - build a new home in a development within ten minutes of John's Sandhurst Golf Club, access to Monash and Eastlink Freeways, all new infrastructure and proposed services, recycled water and no Management Company or Body Corporate Fees.
We invite you to view our journey as we build with Carlisle Homes our 'Savannah 28' at 'The Avenue at Casey', a masterplanned community meeting all our criteria.

Has it really? Seems like only 5 days in some ways but when you gaze through the haze at the maze of (...I'm out of things that rhyme...) pieces put together, you've got a REAL house now. Too exciting. Too jealous.
ReplyDeleteReinsey, Isn't the evolution of a home wonderful!! All happening so fast - your next. What did you decide on the garage window?
ReplyDeleteWonderfully addictive!!!
ReplyDeleteNo decisions as yet. We've got some other things that need to be changed as well, so we have a bit of thinking (and talking) to do this weekend. I'll post about it later today. Might sound stupid, but I'm not that big a fan of our facade, but to then make it uglier...
Carlisle facades are very contemporary and out there....certainly pick them from the rest. Competitor builders displays are copying many elements of Carlisle's facade designs. Go with your gut feeling and remember landscaping etc. makes huge impact on any facade.
ReplyDeleteMostly I love Carlisles facades... But we went with one of the freebies. Loved the one on the Tarneit display that I have on my blog (but I was out voted) and think it would have handled the window/garage alignment better. Probably won't look that bad. But when you've become intimate with a plan, change is not something you can accept in a day!
