After 35+ years of marriage, two wonderful sons, living and working in Australia, Sweden, UK and USA we are now 'just the two of us' plus a very spoilt Shitzu.

Following five years at The Sandhurst Club it is time to downsize. Our criteria - build a new home in a development within ten minutes of John's Sandhurst Golf Club, access to Monash and Eastlink Freeways, all new infrastructure and proposed services, recycled water and no Management Company or Body Corporate Fees.

Carlisle Homes Update

SS called this morning - house progress running smoothly. Electrical 'fitoff' scheduled for Monday with Tiler to follow Wednesday. Caesarstone benchtops probably another week. Bath is installed after tiling.

Ducted Vacuum points fitted with liftup covers today.

Independent Inspection

Electrical rough-in completed and ducted vacuum pipework installed. A last minute decision - we organized a Pre-Plaster Inspection by Kevin at New Homes Inspections. Some frame issues to be taken care of before plaster - Kevin didn't verbally report anything major. Carlisle Homes Construction Manager will have the written Report tomorrow morning. $ well spent for reassurance of workmanship and adherence to Building Codes. We also booked an Inspection for our PCI prior to Handover.
