Just the Two of Us
Just the Two of Us
After 35+ years of marriage, two wonderful sons, living and working in Australia, Sweden, UK and USA we are now 'just the two of us' plus a very spoilt Shitzu.
Following five years at The Sandhurst Club it is time to downsize. Our criteria - build a new home in a development within ten minutes of John's Sandhurst Golf Club, access to Monash and Eastlink Freeways, all new infrastructure and proposed services, recycled water and no Management Company or Body Corporate Fees.
We invite you to view our journey as we build with Carlisle Homes our 'Savannah 28' at 'The Avenue at Casey', a masterplanned community meeting all our criteria.

As in...the plastering is finished Deb?????????????
ReplyDeleteI drove from work and was shocked. Gyprocked the whole house, walls and ceiling - cornices and finishing required - not a bad effort, how many guys were there? John is scratching his head, can't believe it, just got to those noggins and wiring in time.
ReplyDeleteDoes this mean I missed seeing the dryer pipe?
ReplyDeleteI have a funny vision of you and that pipe Janine! Mr Brickie will make sure it is now held in place. Seriously, Carlisle are almost working too fast for us.
ReplyDeleteLet's make a bet on how far they get pre-Christmas...
ReplyDeleteI reckon cabinets will be in and maybe even a bit of painting
Spot on I reckon....SS said they are able to paint whilst bricking and I agree Reinsey, cabinets usually in place for painting. Perhaps with the Xmas break John and I can catch our breath. What's your update on construction now land is titled. I need the focus and enjoyment of someone else's house!!
