Just the Two of Us

Just the Two of Us

After 35+ years of marriage, two wonderful sons, living and working in Australia, Sweden, UK and USA we are now 'just the two of us' plus a very spoilt Shitzu.

Following five years at The Sandhurst Club it is time to downsize. Our criteria - build a new home in a development within ten minutes of John's Sandhurst Golf Club, access to Monash and Eastlink Freeways, all new infrastructure and proposed services, recycled water and no Management Company or Body Corporate Fees.

We invite you to view our journey as we build with Carlisle Homes our 'Savannah 28' at 'The Avenue at Casey', a masterplanned community meeting all our criteria.

Alfresco and Side Path

2012 we were looking forward to completing the Alfresco and side path garden........until I fractured my ankle; slipped on a deck step (ouch!!!) taking me out of action for a number of weeks.

John soldiered on (I'm a really good supervisor) to mortar bricks around the boundary fences (houdini Shitzu) spray paint the timber paling fence plus erect reinforcement wire for the Climbing Roses and Wisteria.
Garden beds dug over adding fresh soil, nutrients and mulch.  Also, irrigation and garden light conduit installed.

Back on two feet and happy planting - Pierre Rosnard Roses, Liriopes, Climbing Fig, Silver Birch, Gardenias, Bird of Paradise, Ajuga, Native Violets and Wisteria.

So far.......with lots more to do!

Painting to be completed before we progress to fence painting, another Pergola over BBQ area and plants.
