Frame completed - awaiting inspection. Windows installed and roof tiles delivered. Site Supervisor 'Gary' called to introduce himself - arranged an introduction meeting and walkthru inspection for next Tuesday. Gutters and fascias to be installed before roof tiling next week. Also, met our back neighbours - waiting on imminent Title of land to begin construction. SE Water moved our meters and taps, now we don't see them from inside the front door. Site and house clean - excellent job.

So nice to meet new neighbours Deb, I feel we will have a very special little community already. Your house is really powering along, how long do they say it will take approx.
ReplyDeleteMet another 'mature couple' today Janine, very much looking forward to building. We couldn't be more pleased with the speed of our house. We anticipate Feb/March completion??
ReplyDeleteWoo Hoo, go the mature people!!!
ReplyDelete**clapping** I can't believe how quickly it's coming together. Totally love the way BonBon is looking up at you to check it's okay to go through the door :)
ReplyDeleteI don't know about you guys - but we were so worried that we'd be the oldest on the estate surrounded by 20 year olds.... Instead of skateboards on the footpaths, it'll be walking frames!!!
We seem to have a good mixture of ages. Lots of people our age building and why not we've earnt it. Our first home without the boys stuff!! I like new and enjoy the transformation of building. Reinsey, we have a new SS - before we even met the old one! asked him about noggins, dryer pipe etc...no problem, we can do whenever.
ReplyDeleteGood to hear girls, I had a feeling we were going to meet some really nice people here. Who knows we may end up being surrogate grand-parents to all the youngies kids in the future!! Sounds like Carlisle are pretty switched on Deb. Have you rung the titles office yet Reinsey? Surely it can't be too far away, after all its November!
