After 35+ years of marriage, two wonderful sons, living and working in Australia, Sweden, UK and USA we are now 'just the two of us' plus a very spoilt Shitzu.
Following five years at The Sandhurst Club it is time to downsize. Our criteria - build a new home in a development within ten minutes of John's Sandhurst Golf Club, access to Monash and Eastlink Freeways, all new infrastructure and proposed services, recycled water and no Management Company or Body Corporate Fees.
We invite you to view our journey as we build with Carlisle Homes our 'Savannah 28' at 'The Avenue at Casey', a masterplanned community meeting all our criteria.

Wow it's all happening for you Deb! Hard to keep up!
ReplyDeleteAll good Janine - how did you go with the house plans?
ReplyDeleteI know you've mentioned it before somewhere, but I'm too time-poor (lazy) to go looking! Who are you going with for your window coverings Deb?
ReplyDeleteHave twice used Sharons' blinds for timber venetians, roller blinds and curtains, excellent.
ReplyDeleteFriend recommended MTC Blinds for Plantation Shutters. Two visits to their showrooms, very helpful.
Same friend put me onto a Wholesale Guy who I met to measure up on Tuesday. Knew his product...only $200 cheaper than MTC for two masterbedroom windows. Negative side - who is he and where does he come from??? Tells me all Plantation Shutters are made in China and he supplies to major retailers - wants 50% up front. For $200 am I better to go with the devil I know and possibly save myself some grief?
Plantation Shutters will take up to 12 weeks. Timber Venetians and Roller Blinds only a couple.
I'm not interested in installing myself.
Will organize Sharon's Blinds for next week.
Re: house, any word on the missing slab?
Re: missing slab, Charlie Chaplin must be now working for Carlisle!
ReplyDeleteGreat info on blinds.
We popped into "Home Depot" at Cranbourne Homemaker Centre. Prices seem comparable with those obtained online. LOADS of fabric samples for blinds & plantations in 8 weeks. $45 for in home measure redeemable with purchase over $1K.
SLAB!!! where are you? your CLE still giving the run around?
ReplyDeleteI shall check out Home Depot. Always good to see different samples and listen to their slant on products.
