Just the Two of Us

Just the Two of Us

After 35+ years of marriage, two wonderful sons, living and working in Australia, Sweden, UK and USA we are now 'just the two of us' plus a very spoilt Shitzu.

Following five years at The Sandhurst Club it is time to downsize. Our criteria - build a new home in a development within ten minutes of John's Sandhurst Golf Club, access to Monash and Eastlink Freeways, all new infrastructure and proposed services, recycled water and no Management Company or Body Corporate Fees.

We invite you to view our journey as we build with Carlisle Homes our 'Savannah 28' at 'The Avenue at Casey', a masterplanned community meeting all our criteria.

Lights are On and Tiling Started

'Electrical Fitoff' was completed yesterday and Power is ON.  So exciting to see lights, switches, dimmers, powerpoints, exhaust fans etc...
Tiler commenced today - prepwork and screeding of shower bases.

  2. We actually saw with lights on, but shhh, we're keeping that to ourselves. Its going to be a scorcher and John is playing golf Sunday morning. I will do a quick run tomorrow morning in case the tiler is around.
    Any progress on yours?

  3. Wow! You're definitely going to be in before we get a slab down. Now postponed until Feb 26. We lost our place in the queue coz of the whole permit bs.
But sooooo happy for you and John. BonBon too!!

  4. Sorry the permit fiasco has delayed your slab but so pleased everything has worked out and going ahead. You will be in your Monaco in no time. At least you'll have somewhere for coffee.

  5. It'll be mid-year for us now Deb. Can't see us getting in before Queens Birthday weekend. Least Loz will have a couple of pays under his belt before the slab invoice comes (and our rapidly dwindling savings erode further). Hard to know when to put our house on the market though with rubbery timelines. They're predicting a slump in real estate prices soon. Eeek!!!
