Just the Two of Us

Just the Two of Us

After 35+ years of marriage, two wonderful sons, living and working in Australia, Sweden, UK and USA we are now 'just the two of us' plus a very spoilt Shitzu.

Following five years at The Sandhurst Club it is time to downsize. Our criteria - build a new home in a development within ten minutes of John's Sandhurst Golf Club, access to Monash and Eastlink Freeways, all new infrastructure and proposed services, recycled water and no Management Company or Body Corporate Fees.

We invite you to view our journey as we build with Carlisle Homes our 'Savannah 28' at 'The Avenue at Casey', a masterplanned community meeting all our criteria.

  5. Janine, what about all those mad people at the Sales!! - OMG and the parking. Wouldn't get John there in a million years. He goes every year to Boxing Day Cricket. The off white mortar certainly compliments the richness of the cleaned bricks.

  6. Thank you for the compliment Reinsey. Be reassured everything you choose will come together beautifully. Everyone has reservations and anxious moments over final colours and selections. I'm super critical at every new work completed; can't wait until finished and colours tie together. Now I'm carrying around chunks of caesarstone, tiles and carpet for soft furnishings?! It never ends.

  7. Deb we drove straight into The Glen got a park straight away we got there around 11 maybe too early for a lot of people. You wouldn't get me anywhere near Chadstone or any similar size centre! David hates shopping maybe next year he can go to the cricket with John and us women can hit the shops!

  8. I too got a park straight away - man walked to his car and I sat with indicator blinking. Woman behind didn't want to drive around!? you know what I wanted to do with that chunk of caesarstone. I was only at Fountain Gate; Chadstone would have been a nightmare - did those shops week before Xmas aarrgggh!
