Just the Two of Us
Just the Two of Us
After 35+ years of marriage, two wonderful sons, living and working in Australia, Sweden, UK and USA we are now 'just the two of us' plus a very spoilt Shitzu.
Following five years at The Sandhurst Club it is time to downsize. Our criteria - build a new home in a development within ten minutes of John's Sandhurst Golf Club, access to Monash and Eastlink Freeways, all new infrastructure and proposed services, recycled water and no Management Company or Body Corporate Fees.
We invite you to view our journey as we build with Carlisle Homes our 'Savannah 28' at 'The Avenue at Casey', a masterplanned community meeting all our criteria.

FIXED LINE!!!!!!!
Following a tea/chat visit yesterday with fellow 'Avenuer' Janine; with no scheduled appointment a Telstra Technician arrived to connect fixed lines for all residents in our street. Pity no-one was advised....lucky I was home.
It has taken 8 weeks for a 'missing part' in the exchange to be installed and we were connected in minutes.
Straight onto Bigpond who inform me internet should be up and running early next week - who am I to question why this can't be done at the same time?
One step closer to full earth communication.

Deeebbbbbbb....
ReplyDeleteSo excited to hear from you.
Did John tell you I went in to check our your shutters and blinds on Saturday? We've got Sharon's Blinds coming to measure up and quote tomorrow. And I get to finally meet our SS, Luke.
If you're home tomorrow, come on over!!!
Yep, John said I missed all the visitors but the fluff balls got acquainted.
ReplyDeleteI work 12 - 5 tomorrow - is Jack coming? Tell him Deb in Faringdon said to look after you; after quoting ask for cash price.
Yep - Jack Habib. I already played the "Deb card". Sharon (?) said oh, Deb, she's lovely!
ReplyDeleteI've also got the place in Cranbourne homemaker centre coming at 10am tomorrow for blinds. Have to make use of my day off and cram everything in!!
'Sharon' is the matriach Mum....Jack and Bruce (40ish) sons.
ReplyDeleteDon't let Jack rush you, can always quote and choose colours later as I did with roller blinds. Also visit showroom/factory if need to; ladies are very helpful.
Good Luck with both quotes. I'm sure one of them will suit you. Leaving Lukes now.
Welcome back Deb!! :)
ReplyDeleteHip hip hooray!!!!!! Their ears must have been burning yesterday! Looking forward to seeing your words of wisdom on a regular basis now!
ReplyDeleteGood to hear again from you Deb.
ReplyDeleteWould love to see photos of your new driveway. We are heading off to Mentone this weekend to see their samples.
I'm told internet will be Wednesday??!! Perhaps delivered with Janines frame.
ReplyDeleteI've missed everyone - so much achieved in the last 8 weeks. Shayne and Jason 'in', Tonia and Chris, Kellyville Resort here we come?...Reinsey breathing down her throat with Blinds being ordered? Flipflop, blinds and driveway - you must be next. Tash and Tristan - Janine and David; the hare and tortoise.
Once back in cyberspace I can regularly keep up with everyone's woes and some photos of our achievements.
