We've never had/wanted TV in bedroom so will be interesting how much football and golf I am able to sleep thru. 58 inch was gorgeous - concerned too big, as we have two rows of seating (3 and 2 seater) plus with prices tumbling couldn't justify.

Always in builders favour....get those specs accurate to the letter. Rein...Deb, what size TV did you go with in the end? Reinsey - plans all OK, its the specs that have mistakes in them, only minor, but we want to both be on the same page with things, also, now they have upped the cost of stove, and slugged us with extra drafting fees, saying, well, they haven't put up the cost of the house in 10 months to us, but it has gone up $11,000 to new purchasers. Can see their point (a little) but this excuse is starting to wear thin when they give you an allowance per square metre of carpet when the allowance is quoted in lineal metres - they have just measured the rooms instead, so of course that measurement comes out in their favour. A carpet place measures on lineal metres and has to take into account minimum wastage etc. so end up being more metres than they say. My question is, why does it always happen to be to their advantage, not ours. The other sticking point we are going to argue with them is they are now charging for the bulkhead in the entry hall, which was always listed as included in the original quote - I have to work tomorrow, but David has the day off, so he will be tackling them on this one. So frustrating!!!Janine Khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00661767812827454045noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7263618505205766241.post-90192102965285705522011-02-20T21:12:28.343+11:002011-02-20T21:12:28.343+11:00Feature Walls -

Have spent at least a couple of hours this arvo. going through them with a fine tooth comb. Would you believe that after it being pointed out to them a number of times, they have still left the E out of Kimberley (lEy) on every piece of documentation, so David is going down to see James again tomorrow, as we will not sign until our name is correct. Still some minor points to be clarified, but we are getting closer now - thank god. Maybe have it signed next weekend, it depends how long they take to make all the amendments.Janine Khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00661767812827454045noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7263618505205766241.post-38823885163967190672011-02-20T19:22:07.587+11:002011-02-20T19:22:07.587+11:00Part of me wants to go down to the block (when can...Part of me wants to go down to the block (when can I start calling it the house?) every night after work, but I'd be so devastated if nothing happened.
